Alan Mock is the Director of First Impressions & New Believer Discipleship at The Vineyard. He is responsible for helping guests and members have a great overall first impression. Alan accomplishes these responsibilities through coaching and directing the Greeting Team, Welcome Team, Coffee Team, Usher Team, Catering Team, Cleaning Team, Facility Maintenance Team, Grounds Maintenance Team and Landscaping Team as they serve the people who attend The Vineyard. He is also responsible for the initial discipleship of new believers and all retreats. He is passionate about showing others that God's Kingdom is here and now, and that they are loved by God.
Alan accepted Christ as his savior when he was 33 years old. Since making his decision to follow Christ later in life, God has put a passion in his heart to make up for lost time. His heart's desire is to be a faithful disciple of Christ.
Alan is married to Mary Anne, his bride of 22 years. They have 5 children: Chad, Clint, Ashley, Hannah and Samuel. Alan is a self-proclaimed homebody. He loves spending time with his wife and children. He also likes to hunt and fish when he gets the chance, and to spend time alone with God in His beautiful creation.
