Joel Patterson is the Director of Media at The Vineyard. He is responsible for developing and expanding internet-based communications, visual promotions, weekend celebration media and computer support. Joel is also responsible for coaching and directing the Celebrations Media Team, Graphic Design Team, Photography Team, Video Team, eCommunications Team and Computer Support Team.
Joel was blessed to grow up in a Christian home and accepted Christ on Easter's eve as a young child. Although challenges have come and gone in his life, Christ's love has always been his greatest comfort. Joel graduated from Wabash College in 2009 with a B.A. in Math and Art.
When Joel is not at the Vineyard, he is either at Ivy Tech as an adjunct math professor and tutor or enjoying life with his bride, Sara! He loves sports,especially the Indianapolis Colts, and also enjoys playing pickup games with friends.
