The Vineyard Church

Matt Poorman is the Director of Student Ministries at The Vineyard.  Matt became a follower of Jesus as a freshman in high school and thus has a passion for working with middle school and high school students.  His mission in life is to help students see the love of God, help them know the Word of God, and help them to give themselves recklessly to the will of God.

Matt graduated from Mishawaka High School (go Cavemen!) and later graduated Taylor University with a B.A. in Mass Communications.

Matt and his wife, Leah, have married for eight years, and have a 6-year-old son, Elijah, a 4-year-old daughter, Abigail, and a one year old daughter, Eden!  In his spare time, Matt loves to play guitar, play with his kids, and spend time with friends and family!
