Tara Wallace is the Overseer of Children’s Ministries at The Vineyard. JAM (which stands for Jesus and Me) is the Children’s Ministry Program for infants up to 5th graders. Around The Vineyard, you can find her working with staff and leaders to ensure children have a great experience and that they connect with Jesus in a significant way. And in addition to children’s ministries, Tara serves on the teaching team for our Weekend Celebrations.
Having found Jesus as a child, Tara is passionate about seeing Jesus come to life for kids. “I love telling people about who Jesus is and how He has changed me,” she says, “and at JAM we get to do that in a creative, colorful, life-changing way.
Tara is happily married to Rob, who is also on staff here at The Vineyard. In June 2009 they were blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Lily. Tara’s favorite things include reading a good book, watching a good movie, making cookies, doodling and drawing, and the color pink!
