1 Peter 4:10  “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

Purpose:

Our Vineyard team will be serving at the New Life for Women Program, a ministry of New Life Covenant Church of Chicago, IL. The New Life for Women program is safe house, farm, and training center for women suffering from addiction and homelessness, domestic violence, or are victims of sexual trafficking. Most of the women come from the streets of Chicago.

Our team will help through construction and the work of our hands to restore a barn on the farm property, which will be used as meeting space for the farm residents and a way to connect with the community around the farm. The team will also assist with projects around the farm, as well cook for our team and the farm residents. This trip will require team members who are skilled in construction as well as those who are unskilled but willing to work hard. All team members should have willing hearts to serve!
