Steve Huffman, Pastor of Leadership & Campus Development and Prayer
Steve Huffman is the Pastor of Leadership Development, Campus Development and Prayer at The Vineyard. In June 2015, Steve had the opportunity to gracefully exit his role in executive leadership of a healthcare system he served for 18 years and join the staff at The Vineyard in a move he refers to as “perfectly timed by God”.
Steve grew up knowing about Jesus and attended church every now and then, but when he married Anne in 1997 they became increasingly active and open to God’s plan for their lives. Steve’s passion for Christ exploded in 2011 when he and his family helped to launch Project WARM, a weather amnesty relief ministry for fragile homeless men in South Bend. Steve has an enthusiasm for prayer, church plants and developing leaders to become world changers.
Steve graduated with an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and holds an undergraduate degree in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan. Steve and his wife Anne have three boys and enjoy playing music, raising chickens, spending time outdoors and serving the downtown South Bend area homeless.
