Making Space for Today and Tomorrow

There is a great sense of excitement regarding what God is doing within our church body. We are privileged to not only see general growth in our spiritual family but also growth in ministry areas reaching our younger generations. On top of this, we are seeing growth in our adult ministries as well. Some Vineyard Classes and other “smaller” events have upwards of 100 adults in attendance, which becomes a challenge to fit in our largest classroom. Additionally, we are seeing more young families joining our church who desire to gather in Vineyard Groups. We have found when there is an option that makes childcare space available at the church, participation and commitment increases.

Psalm 78:1-4 reads, "My people, hear my teaching; listen to the words of my mouth. I will open my mouth with a parable; I will utter hidden things, things from of old … We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done."

The NextGen Initiative includes a building expansion that will allow us to keep saying YES to all the opportunities ahead, and especially those to directly impact “the next generation.”

The estimated cost of the NextGen Initiative is $3,350,000. However, because of the generosity of the Vineyard Church family over the years, Vineyard is able to contribute up to $2 million out of savings! In order to raise the remaining $1,350,000 in 2024, it will take some form of financial participation from hundreds households. 10% of every dollar donated to NextGen will be sent outside the walls of the church to areas of need in our community and around the world. If you call Vineyard your church home, please pray in consideration of what you are able to sacrifice for the vision of NextGen.

10% of every dollar donated to NextGen Initiative will be sent outside the walls of the church to areas of need in our community and around the world. So far, raised funds have been sent to:
