Join us as we make room for the Lord, a resting place for his presence, and provide a space for worship and prayer.
The simple purpose of this gathering is to love the Lord, listen and follow the Holy Spirit, and pray. We do this by beginning with thanksgiving to the Lord and worshiping God for who He is and what He has done. Throughout worship, the team will move into moments of intercession when we will pray about what is on God’s heart within and outside of the walls of the church. There is freedom to pray along with, or separately from, the team as the Lord leads you.
Join us on Tuesdays from 6-7:30am or Thursdays from 11:30am-1pm. You are welcome to come and go as you wish.
Throughout the gathering, we will continue with worship, doing our best to follow the leading of the Lord. You will not be required to sing aloud, or speak aloud, yet there may be invitations to do so as the team sees fit.
You can worship along with the team, pray with or separately from the team as the Lord leads you, kneel, sit, stand, or move to another part of the room, write a letter to Jesus about what you are experiencing or about your week, or read scripture and ask the Holy Spirit to understand new details about what you are reading. You are not required to do any of these activities, but they are helpful suggestions to help you engage through the time of prayer.
You are welcome to bring your kids to Open Prayer & Worship, however we ask that you keep an atmosphere of prayer within the room. Any conversations outside of prayer should be moved to the atrium.
