I have a quick encouragement for us. Jesus shared this great promise:

Matthew 5:6 "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled."

Are you hungry? Good. I hope our physical hunger helps us embrace our spiritual hunger.

I’m reminded of a simple worship song that I hope encourages all of us today. The lyrics are below, and a link to listen will be at the bottom of this page. We are hungry for the One whose love does not run dry, His arms are open wide, and His touch restores our life.

Hungry (Falling On My Knees) – Vineyard Worship

Hungry I come to You
For I know You satisfy
I am empty but I know
Your love does not run dry

So I wait for You
So I wait for You

I'm falling on my knees
Offering all of me
Jesus You're all
This heart is living for

Broken I run to You
For Your arms are open wide
I am weary but I know Your touch
Restores my life
