India Mission Trip | Update 2
March 19, 2026 | Sam Briggs
This morning, we visited the village community center in Rohini (in the slums of New Delhi). Pastor Fenial’s father started with Christ for India back in 1984. It was nice seeing his son take over his mission and continue to grow what his father started. This falls in line with the vision of Pastor Abraham’s ministry.
This center was eye opening. This is a Center that the Vineyard originally partnered with Christ for India to fund back in 2019 and has been going strong since. They have around 45 children who show up every day and they turn away around 50 children every day due to lack of space. That was the largest challenge for me wondering what those other kids are doing.
The center has plans to grow. They have an existing room on the second floor that they would like to turn into a playroom. They have also planned for a third level once they can secure the funding to expand. This center also has a classroom with an instructor to teach the skill of sewing. They hold Sunday morning church services at this facility as well.
The biggest highlight of the visit for me was seeing the children so excited to line up and shake the hands of the team. They were excited to have visitors from America come visit their school. Nothing melts your heart like the smiles of 45 children. You can feel the work and presence of God in the community center in Rohini.
